When a friend gave me Games People Play in 1966, I was hooked. I studied TA with Eric Berne from 1966-1970 and started private practice in 1970 focusing on developing Inner Child work. I began conducting trainings with professional and lay audiences around the world starting in 1974. My work on the process (rather than the result) of child and adult development, The Cycle of Development, won the Eric Berne Award in 1984. In 1987 I added Clinical Nutrition and Medicinal Herbology to my practice, combining that with Inner Child work. Thus I had a front row seat to see the incredible role the mind plays in illness and healing. That learning was presented in Mind as Medicine: How to Discover and Transform Hidden Imprints Behind Physical symptoms (2024.)
