The International Board of Certification (IBOC) organized the second online Training Endorsement Workshop (TEW) of 2026 on July 24-26. We had 16 participants and two translators from across the world: Hungary, Russia, India, Ukraine, Guatemala, the United States of America (USA), Croatia, Spain and the United Kingdom (UK). The cultural variety was enriching. We had participants and faculty from different fields of Transactional Analysis (TA) practice, which enhanced the learning experience.

The staff team consisted of Sabine Blumenstein from Germany, Suriyaprakash C. from India, Andy Williams and Nicki Worrall from the UK. They were an excellent mix of energy, expertise, humor, warmth and responsibility. The staff appreciates the excellent preparation and participation by the candidates. We are proud of your commitment and passion for TA! Many thanks to the TEW staff members for their time and effort.

The commitment of the participants and staff and meticulous planning helped us to work across the widely varying time zones. Thanks to the brilliant translators, we worked smoothly across the language barriers. And now, we have another batch of talented people who are ready to sign the Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst (TSTA) contract and start teaching and supervising future generations of learners in the theory and practice of TA. Congratulations to all of them!

We also had a celebration with giving thanks and some fun moments in spite of three long and tiring days. I wish to place on record my personal joy and satisfaction in having been able to successfully complete this supplementary online TEW as coordinator. I am amazed by the promising talent and potential leadership in our community.

Many thanks to all who supported me through the process. I am looking forward to someone joining me to take over the baton for the future. I am also grateful to the IBOC co-chairs, Nicole and Hasseena, without whom this coordination would have been difficult for me. It would be an omission not to mention the IBOC admin support from Sarah and Lauren.

We look forward to the next TEW in November 2026. The IBOC is happy to note that the April 2027 TEW is fully booked already, but we do not have a long waitlist anymore for participants for the TEW. All the same, we are excited to have the next generation of Certified Transactional Analysts (CTAs) joining soon in the team of teachers and supervisors!
