I am PhD in psychology, certified transactional analyst and educator and supervisor in the psychotherapy field (CTA-P, TSTA-P). My career in psychology began with completing my psychology studies in 2001, whereafter I began working at a psychiatric hospital, where I remained for the following ten years. During this time, I completed my education in Transactional Analysis as well as my postgraduate studies in clinical psychology. I also ventured into working in private practice and began my academic career at the University of Novi Sad, where I worked for six years. At that time, I was fulfilling three professional roles – psychologist, psychotherapist, and science worker/teaching assistant. The interweaving of these roles resulted in the subjects of my masters and doctorate theses encompassing transactional analysis and clinical psychology. Drawing on this material, I have written and published four scientific papers in international journals which dealt with examining the empirical bases of several TA concepts (injunctions, racket feelings, life positions, script decisions, script). Having become very fond of my role as a lecturer but taking issue with how the state university in Serbia functioned, I decided to continue my journey into TA through the role of provisional educator and supervisor and left my academic career. Now I work in a private practice as psychotherapist and educator and supervisor at the institute for Relational transactional analysis, which I founded in 2018 in Novi Sad (Serbia). My main focus in psychotherapy as well as in education and supervision is therapeutic relationship and unconscious processes, which are at the essence of Relational transactional analysis. I am also involved with promoting relational TA in my home country. With the support of foreign colleagues, predominantly from England, I strive to offer a different experience of education and supervision compared to our usual context, which entails many challenges, but also growth opportunities for both myself and my students. I am member of International transactional analysis association (ITAA), Serbian and European association for transactional analysis (SATA/EATA) and International association for Relational transactional analysis (IARTA). I live and work in Novi Sad.
