It is a great privilege to support the nomination of Thorsten Geck for the 2026 International Transactional Analysis Association (ITAA) service award.
I have had the good fortune of working closely with Thorsten in many roles both on and off the board. In all these roles, he has demonstrated a strong sense of clarity, loyalty and determination and is a strong member of any team he is part of.
His capacity to stay calm and measured has provided containment to all the teams he has been part of or led.
Thorsten’s integrity to stay true to both his own values and those of the organization has added to his strength as a leader, where he shows courage to facilitate real change, often in a time where this is complex and challenging.
His clear, direct ways have not excluded a beautiful, humane and generous manner where he instills trust, honesty and walking the talk of the principles and philosophies of transactional analysis.
I believe he is deserving of this award, as he has served our community with utmost devotion and gone the extra mile in so many ways.
He is someone who has earned respect through action and deeds, and for this, I salute him.
It has been an honor to work, learn and grow alongside him.
