It is my absolute pleasure to nominate Thorsten Geck for the International Transactional Analysis Association (ITAA) Service Award. To be honest, I have somewhat lost track of the many roles and countless years that Thorsten has spent in the service of the ITAA, behind the scenes on training and certification, and up front on the ITAA board.
It was my privilege to work with him as a fellow board member and then, when I was president, with him as a particularly reliable and hardworking member of my team. That was a particularly challenging time for our organization, and Thorsten did not waver.
In the role of president himself, he was just the right person to carry our long-term vision of a more professional association to practical fruition. He brought a calm and tenacious commitment to the lengthy processes involved and managed to keep everyone on board and the members well informed.
The ITAA really has received the most outstanding, dedicated and generous service from Thorsten.
