Lyn Wall is an autistic ADHDer and psychotherapist with over 35 years of experience working across mental health and therapeutic care. She began her career as a psychiatric social worker, before moving into family social work — a decade of practice that took her into the heart of institutional psychiatry and child and family services. For the past 30 years she has worked in therapeutic residential care, holding roles as Clinical Lead, Psychotherapist and Provisional Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst (PTSTA). She is a co-trainer on the Anna Freud National Autistic Training Programme, an activist and advocate with Neuroclastic and the International Coalition Against Restraint and Seclusion, and a moderator in neuroaffirming spaces. She writes and advocates from the intersection of professional expertise and lived experience, committed to the neurodiversity paradigm and the radical inheritance of Transactional Analysis.
