The International Board of Certification (IBOC) conducted Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA) and Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst (TSTA) exams from March 5-7, 2026, hosting 30 exam boards within the three days. Congratulations to the new CTAs, TSTAs, Supervising Transactional Analysts (STA), and Teaching Transactional Analysts (TTA)! We were again delighted and inspired to see the community unite to support candidates in preparing for and taking their exams with dedication and thoroughness. Thank you all for showing up!
We hear from many candidates that the values of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) are consistently upheld and truly reflect the spirit of a global exam event. This time, colleagues from more than 20 different countries around the world joined in. Thank you to all translators, who again did a great job as bridge builders between languages. Special thanks to Mayke Wagner-Froböse, our second TSTA exam supervisor and volunteer coordinator.
We also thank our IBOC administrators, Sarah Lowes and Lauren Summers, for their prompt and flawless management of all administrative tasks linked with the exams. We sincerely thank everyone for supporting the former candidates through this rite of passage.
Not everything went smoothly. We dealt with some technical glitches, misunderstandings, and necessary last-minute changes on our exam spreadsheets. The calm and flexibility with which colleagues supported us and each other to navigate these situations was amazing. Thank you.
